360° Product Photography is a series of photos (or video spliced into frames) captured while a product is rotating in 360° degrees. The images are then rendered into an interactive 360° “player” which can be uploaded or embedded onto an E-Commerce website, allowing the customer to swipe, rotate & zoom on the product image in full 360°.
IFC is a revolutionary E-Commerce tool that is shot & produced with video using a live model to showcase clothing, accessories, or wearables while in motion. These videos are then rendered into interactive “players” that allow the viewer to “swipe” to make the model move in all directions, thus providing the most accurate depiction of how the clothing or material looks in real life.

This number may vary depending on the retail platform you are uploading your content to. Some platforms only allow a lower frame count of 24 images, while other platforms allow up to 72 frames (or more). The higher the frame count the more fluid and smooth the 360° rotation or motion is.
Respectively, higher frame counts can take slightly longer to load. Motion Crave recommends a frame count between 48 and 62 to provide a smooth spin or motion, without sacrificing long load times.
On most jobs, included within the “deliverables” are individual JPEG images of each Frame that makes up the 360° photo or interactive video content. In addition, an MP4 Video File of the 360° product rotation or interactive content may also be provided upon request (to use for commercials, social media posting, online videos & tutorials, in-store digital displays & more).
Interactive 360° & content players screens are uploaded or embedded onto a website via an image viewer. Depending on your needs, Motion Crave offers “white-label” image viewer hosting options.
